Club Meetings

The Woodlands Photography Club meets the second Monday of every month from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.

Meetings are normally held at the South Montgomery County Community Center. Any alternate meeting location can be found in the meeting schedule.

Photography 101 with Pam Moore

Pam Moore will be teaching the basics of photography. Learn how to use the settings on your camera, and get out of Auto. There will be a classroom lesson followed by hands on practice of what was discussed. Participants be sure to bring a camera, your camera manual, charged batteries, and a memory card.

We need at least 12 attendees by the end of the March meeting, or the class will be cancelled. The class has a 20 person maximum. Sandwiches, chips, and water will be provided.

Cost - $20

Location - South Montgomery County Community Center - Craft Room

Field Trips

Lectures, workshops, news letters...talk, talk, talk. It means nothing until you strap on your boots, grab the gadget bag, and seize your view of the world.

Mini Contest (2012)

Participate in the mini-contest at each club meeting. Simply bring 2 photographs of the contest subject.

The entries can be prints or in digital format. If possible, please re-size entries to 1024x768 and submit to Blake Corcoran 3 days before the meeting.
