Activities
Black
& White PRESENTATION
Ray
Carrington gave a presentation on "Black and White Photography".
We learned how to take Black and White pictures, an artistic different
perspective.
We enjoyed the B&W prints taken by Ray and his students at Jack
Yates High School. Thank you Ray, for sharing these beautiful images
with the membership.
Special
thanks to Bob Bierman and Josef Herz for the refreshments.
CAR
CLUB CALENDAR PHOTO PROJECT
During three weekends at the Town Center Area, we were taking car
pictures from The Woodlands Car Club for 2005 calendar. We had a
great time and a challenging workshop taking these car photographs.
Thanks to Debbie Alamilla, Janice & Nolan Braud, Brenda Driscoll,
Fernando & Cecilia García, Dave McConnachie, Dot Mullinax,
and Steve Rutledge for participating in this project. Congratulations
on a terrific job!

Bend Photo Workshop: Landscapes in the Chihuahuan Desert,
blooming cactus, insects, birds, and night sky. Kathy Adams Clark
will lead the trip. Cost $320 with van transportation, or $135 using

OUR CLUB |

The Woodlands Photography Club is
an organization formed
to support area photographers of all ages, skill levels, and
interests to advance in their ability to create truly satisfying
images. In the process, we all become great friends,
enjoy field trips and outings together, and learn from each
other.
MEETINGS. We meet on the
second Monday of every month from 6:30 to 9 P.M. at the Library
just west of The Woodlands Pavilion(The
Montgomery County South Branch Library
at 2101 Lake Robbins Dr.) in
the meeting room immediately to your
left as you enter the front doors.
Visitors and the curious are always most welcome!
MEMBERSHIP. Anyone interested in photography,
no matter what your age or level of experience (professional,
amateur, or wannabe), is most welcome to join our club.
Membership is a measly $20/person or $30/couple
per year (worth getting married for!).
NEWSLETTER.
Our monthly online newsletter goes out around
the first week of each month (you are reading the current
issue). We keep all back issues archived on our club
website.
MEMBER GALLERIES. Each member can
have a gallery of his or her best images online.
