Activities At our monthly meeting Jeff Penn, Nikon rep. for South Texas and Louisiana, was our speaker. He brought several of Nikon's digital cameras, as well as information on the D2X which will be available next year. Special Thanks to Bill Wright for the delicious cookies he provided for the meeting. MINI MEMBER SLIDE SHOW Nolan & Janice Braud shared their beautiful work on National Parks. Those images were delightful and the information that Janice gave was very educational. Thanks to both of them. CAR CLUB CALENDAR PHOTO PROJECT The Woodlands Car Club for 2005 calendar is ready!!!! We had a great time and a challenging workshop taking these car photographs. Thanks to Debbie Alamilla, Janice & Nolan Braud, Brenda Driscoll, Fernando & Cecilia García, Dave McConnachie, Dot Mullinax, and Steve Rutledge for participating in this project. Congratulations on a terrific job! If you want to buy a calendar there will be available at our next meeting. All the money will go for a charity donation.

MEMBER'S SUCCESSES TO SHARE Congratulations to Barbara Edmondson for selling her pictures at MacKenzie's Contemporary American Style gallery in Old Town Spring. Barbara sold her first print in Sept. during the Art Walk. Last Saturday, Oct. 30, she sold a print and a greeting card. What an accomplishment! Cecilia García recently was honored by having her Bora Bora photograph chosen by the Houston Center for Photography for its 23rd. Anniversary fund raising auction. Her print is one of 23 chosen from the greater Houston area. LOOKING FOR A GROUP OF PHOTOGRAPHERS: Dot Mullinax is looking for a group of photographers to make a trip to Africa next Sep-Oct, 2005. The trip is called "Hluhluwe and Kruger", 11 days/8 nights.
