At our regular meeting on December 12:

* OFFICIAL PRESENTATION OF 2006 WPC BOARD MEMBERS: President: Mike Guidry, Vice-President: Brett Rodríguez, Treasurer: Janice Braud, Secretary/Hospitality: Dianna Montoya, Publicity: Cecilia García, Advisor: Dave McConnachie. We welcome our new Photography Club Board members and we are ready to follow their leadership.

* We had our Christmas Party with plenty of food, a members slide show and, the most of all, sharing our friendship.

MONTHLY MEETING & PRESENTATION

Monday, January 9 -- 6:30 - 9 P.M.

SPEAKER: Bill Nanni, owner of Photographic Techniques, will share his knowledge from digital photo prep, significance and differences in the different types of digital files (jpeg, tiff and raw). Do not miss this great opportunity to learn from one of the most skilled and talented persons in digital lab.

2) Canon EOS Digital Rebel 6.3 Megapixel, $1,200. This camera was bought because of a job I was taking w/ a newspaper. I ended up not getting it, so it has been waiting for someone to use it. It works great and comes with TWO lenses: The 18mm-35mm and Canon Zoom lens EF, 75-300mm, f4-5.6 with image stabilizer. This is a great camera. Contact Gabriel García for details.
