Activities During our May regular meeting, Mike Guidry, president of WPC, threw on the table some different ideas to discuss with the membership. It was a very interesting night, giving us some insight into the main interests of the members (at least those who were present). After this, we will try to work on incorporating these ideas into our planning for the club in the coming months. NEW

Walls, columnist at the Conroe Courier, will
lead guided birding trips to the Clarann Estate in Chapel Hill,
Washington Co. Clarann Estate has a bit of everything to offer any
nature lover. There are manicured botanical gardens, tree canopied
walk-ways, open wildflower meadows, a 7 acre lake, 2 creeks, hardwood
bottomland forest and more. It is 63 acres of birders (or butterfly/wildflower
enthusiasts) paradise. If you like to take nature photographs, it
provides you wonderful opportunities to do so. Cost per person is
$22 which includes transportation from Christmas Creek Nature Preserve
(near Richards) to and from Clarann. More

Saturday, July 22 -- 9 AM-5 PM WORKSHOP Photoshop CS & CS2: JUST FOR MEMBERS -Morning session for beginners, afternoon for intermediate, by J Braud and B Rodríguez. The morning session will have an introduction to tools and basic functions - then allow questions to determine how the rest of the time is spent.
